Due to the many complications within the various vulnerability databases, my thesis presents a tool, VACT, which scans the vulnerability databases, searches for specified vulnerabilities by the classification given, and returns the selected vulnerabilities in a downloadable and statistical form. VACT allows for one to gather customizable trend analysis results from a user defined search of vulnerability databases. The user selects each classification used within the search. The search is conducted by comparing the classification to the vulnerabilities description.
